Your web browser will sometimes story a copy of the files that make up a webpage or web application to avoid having to download them again.
This information can sometimes become out of date, especially after a new LabelEd update has been deployed. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help to resolve issues in this situation.
Please find instructions for clearing the cache in your specific browser below:
Internet Explorer
In Internet Explorer 7 and 8:
- Log out of LabelEd and close all other open browser windows.
- Click Tools > Internet Options.
- Select the General tab.
- Click Delete under Browsing History.
- Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files.
- Click Delete Cookies.
- Click OK.
In Internet Explorer 6:
- Log out of LabelEd and close all other open browser windows.
- Click the Tools menu at the top of your browser, and select Internet Options.
- Click the General tab at the top of the dialogue box.
- Click Delete Files under Temporary Internet files.
- Select Delete all offline content by checking the box.
- Click OK.
Firefox
In Firefox for PCs:
- Log out of LabelEd and close all other open browser windows.
- Click the Tools menu at the top of your browser and select Clear Private Data...
- Select the Cookies and Cache checkboxes.
- Click Clear Private Data Now.
In Firefox for Macs:
- Log out of LabelEd and close all other open browser windows.
- Click the Firefox menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences...
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Clear Now... at the bottom of the dialogue box.
- Check the boxes next to Cache and Cookies in the new dialogue box.
- Click Clear Private Data Now.
Safari
- Log out of LabelEd and close all other open browser windows.
- Open the Safari menu on your browser's toolbar.
- Select Empty Cache.
- Click Empty in the dialogue box
Google Chrome
- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Clear browsing data.
- Select Empty the cache and Delete cookies.
- Click Clear browsing data.
Opera
- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Delete Private Data...
- Click on Detailed Options.
- Select the options to delete temporary cookies, all cookies and entire cache.
- Click the Delete button.
